In 2016, Mint Equity took out the win at the Gala Awards Night, and whilst it would be great to win again, Directors, Zac and Leigh Peteh are humble about being nominated. “Finance is a highly competitive industry and we’re up against long established businesses and big marketing budgets, so just getting to the finals is amazing,” Leigh Peteh, Director Marketing & Communications.

The strong submissions from the finalists in the 2017 Connective Excellence Awards, are indicative of the high levels of professionalism and achievement across the Australian mortgage broking industry.

“Marketing for a business in a fairly boring industry can be tricky. Finance isn’t top of mind for most people and often elements like refinancing is placed in the ‘too hard basket’, so our approach is to simplify content and make it relevant”, Leigh Peteh.

Earlier this year we asked our clients what more we could do for them and we’ve taken that feedback to develop a program that ensures we’re helping them with their goals. We’ll be adding additional products, services and a new communication strategy to provide a holistic customer experience. We’re really excited about giving our clients more.

Mint Equity recently celebrated their win at the 2017 Better Business Awards for Best Regional Office in NSW and were finalists in two categories at the 2017 Australian Broker Awards. Their nationally recognised award nomination showed the Central Coast Mortgage Broker that they could compete with the big boys after just two years in business.

The Connective Excellence awards not only acknowledge the mortgage brokers who are excelling but also the lenders and aggregator BDMs that are best servicing brokers’ evolving needs.

Directors Zac and Leigh Peteh are delighted their family owned business is receiving recognition in a highly competitive industry. In addition to their focus on marketing to new clients, their existing client base will benefit from their Customer Experience Program due to launch later this year. “Earlier this year we asked our clients what more we could do for them and we’ve taken that feedback to develop a program that ensures we’re helping them with their goals. We’ll be adding additional products, services and a new communication strategy to provide a holistic customer experience. We’re really excited about giving our clients more,” Zac Peteh, Director.

Winners will be announced at the Connective Gala Awards night at the Hunter Valley in November.
